Rhino files getting huge

Hello everyone! I'm running Rhino 6/RhinoCAM 2020, and have noticed my files seem to be getting larger and larger. None of them include complex materials, meshes, etc., and the Purge command in Rhino has no effect on the file size, nor does the "Save small" option. I've run the Audit3dmfile command, and the largest component taking up space in the files seems to be RhinoCAM. I've also tried deleting layers and even removing all the CAM operations from test versions of the files, but nothing seems to reduce the file sizes. If anyone has any ideas or if I can provide further info, please let me know -- I'm still getting my CNC-legs, as it were, so this is all still pretty new territory for me. Thanks in advance!
