Identified in RhinoCAM 2018 v8.0.0.28.
When simulating a part with multiple setups the simulated model vanishes leaving only the toolpaths displayed. Generally the disappearing stock happens in a MOP part way through the second setup and is gone for all MOPs below that. Often the simulation starts ok for the first part of the MOP then suddenly disappears after a few machining levels.
The milling machine is a 3 axis unit and the second setup is usually where the part has been turned over to machine the other side.

Please make sure to simulate all operations in the Setups above before simulating the operation(s) in current Setup.
If you have Remove Remnants during simulation checked under Simulation Preferences, clear this option and simulate the setups and check if this works. If the problem still persists, would you be able to upload the file or email it to [email protected] so we could take a look at it.

Re: RhinoCAM 2018 simulation bug. Machined stock model vanis
Thanks for the response.
Operations in the current setup and previous setups above the MOP that causes the vanishing are always simulated first so that can't be contributing.
'Remove remnants' is checked which must be the default. Next time it happens I'll uncheck it and let you know if that fixes the problem.
Once the MOP where the part vanishes is reached every MOP below that doesn't show the part either.

Re: RhinoCAM 2018 simulation bug. Machined stock model vanis
Just ran a simulation on a complex part and the stock model vanished part way through a 'Clear Flat Tops' MOP and remained gone for the all the MOPs there under. Unchecked the 'Remove Remnants' box in setup and re-ran the simulation. No vanishing model!! Excellent.
Bug seems to be something to do with that feature. The entire model is a pretty big remnant....
