How do I lock an imported step file into the VM workspace, so I can extract planes and curves, but not accidentally move the model relative to sketches made on it ?
Using the "lock" button stops me extracting data, and I have to unlock the model and relock it. I have ruined a prototype piece by the model shifting from session to session.
Locking the working model in place.

From Home tab in VisualCAD select Options. In the options dialog select System and select check box to Lock Selected Object(s) Drag.
