I do projects that require vcarving text, sometimes I use engraving bits, seems to work good on a few of the projects. One thing concerns me is that the tooling data seems to not have a way to tell the shank diameter. The engraving bits that I use have a shank diameter of 1/8 inch. (50 & 60 degree inc. angle bits) I feel this might give incorrect results if this isn't specified. Is there a way to get this information into the tooling database? I thought about making a profile of the bits that I use (user defined bits) but I have VM 6.0 STD.
