Upgrading to 5 with a custom VMPostC.exe

I have a custom VMPostC.exe file provided by Mecsoft which addresses a problem in my controller. This custom file converts G01 Fnn retracts into G00 rapids. This works perfectly with VM4.0 - are there likely to be any issues if I just copy this into the VM5 folder overwriting the new version 5 VMPostC.exe file?
