entry point on profile path (how to change)

How do I control the location of the the Zdrop/entry point for a profile cut. I want to the entry point in another location along the profile. I can do it by manually editing the code, but there must be a way to control this. Is it done with the model?

Yes the start point of the curve is used to control the start point of the profile. Use the crvseam Rhino command to change the start point of a closed curve.

what about if its not a closed curve. How do i change line direction i a single line without dwawing it again?
