Profile Skim Clearance Bug

Post by Aaron »

I have been getting random skim clearance problems when profiling more than 1 item. Occasionally the clearance will be calculated from the last cut depth instead of from the material top. You can correct it by raising the ckim clearance to stock height + the clearance desired- or you can also CUT & PASTE one of the items & re-create a profile. You can NOT simply re-generate or delete the MOp & re-create. The item has to be removed & re-added for some reason.... can't quite figure it out.

I now have to look at the front view of every MOp toolpath to be sure there are no red lines (rapids) below the material top. It is easy to see but if you forget to check it sure makes a nasty mess as it rapids through the material as it moves to the next profile cut.
