It seems that the begginning of every cut is leading into the wood. So on once side of the pocket, where all the cuts are starting...there is a small slope down to the right height...then upon a clean up pass around the outside of the pocket the bit plows through this raised up area and leaves a "ring" at the right depth. This only happens on the one side where all the cuts begin...at the end of the cut the finish pass and the pocketting passes are aligned...what is going on? I have the parameters set to what I believe should give me a straight plunge down.
