Hello,
! CONGRATULATIONS !
I have just downloaded VisualCAD 2.0.0.61 (Version:May,12,2012)
I have tested IGES and STEP files which did not import correctly in previous versions
Now they are imported 100% o.k.
Thank you for your effort and job well done.
Regards,
GPD

Re: VisualCAD 2.0.0.61
Thanks, we aim for continual improvement! VisualCAD 2.0.0.62 should be out soon as well. We have implemented the ability to scale imported parts if they are not in the same model units.

Hi Mecsoft,
Have tried this along with the VisualMill Demo but cannot for the life of me find a way to fillet the 3d models in VisualCad ie Fillet or Chamfer a Cylinder for example.
Could you please advise if the above is possible.
Sorry if posted in the wrong section.
Chris

Hi Chris,
you cannot chamfer or fillet in 3D in VisualCAD. You should look at RhinoCAM + Rhino or SolidWorks + VM for SW for this sort of functionality. We suggest using VisualCAD + VisualMILL not so much for design + machining but more for just machining. You can think of this combination as a shop floor system.

The last version I downloaded was 6.0.7.3 .This was the last announcement in 'Topics and Support'. I was unaware that there has been more updates. How many has there been?

Best way to check this is to run "Check for Updates" from the product. Menu -> Help -> Check for Updates.
