Engraving

Post by juliao »

Why when i create a line engraving when i Post-process Rhino posts many X points. An example:
G0 X0 Y0 Z0
G1 X150 F1000 he does this:

G0 X0 Y0 Z0
G1 x50
x100
x150

This makes the machine stop and marks on steel

thanks

My guess is your posting line segments. The lines used to create the text are not continuous.

I see you posted a file, for some reason my login didn't stick and it wasn't there before I posted. I'll look at it.

I'm stumped, I can't find any reason for it.

No.it was 2 lines and i joined them. but after you said that i created just one new and the result was the same .Now only stop´s one time but still does the same.

Did you read it already? you could try to post it in your computer and see if the result is the same.

Thanks

Yes I tried the file and had the same results you reported. I also tried drawing some new lines and had the same results as you. Really strange. I tried it in a new file and got the same results.
