Horizontal Roughing issue

Post by JGarrett »

In my model I generated a Horizontal Roughing tool-path correctly and then had to move my model. After the move the operation will only generate it's path movements where the previous placement and new placement overlap. My parallel finishing operation made the move without issue. Both operations share a common boundry, so this makes no sense to me. My file sizes are too big to post.

Make sure you move your stock model as well.

I moved everything. I turned on all my layers and typed move, than all, to do the move. There is nothing at all binding the tool-path to the corner it is stuck in. Is there an email address I can send these models to? They are just barely too big to upload here.

Even though you have moved everything in the CAD model the stock model is probably still in the original location. After moving your CAD model recreate the stock model and then regenerate the Horizontal Roughing operation.
