problem moving 2.5D toolpath entry exit point on region

All has worked fine until today. Using "Adjust closed curve seam" I've moved several toolpath start/end points on my design but on one curve the toolpath starts/ends in exactly the same place regardless of where I move the seam to. Any ideas why its failing on one curve only? TIA
