Will Visual Mill 6.0 4th axis have MachineWorks or just Visual Mill 6.0 Pro?
Is it too early to start requesting enhancements for Visual CAM 1.0 / Visual Mill 6.0?

Hi Jon,
VisualMILL 4th axis will have Machineworks (VisualMill 5.0 4th axis module already does)
Regarding enhancements we will open a new forum for VisualMILL 6.0 in the next few days. So please wait until then.

I do not see 4th axis pocketing listed in the feature specs for VM6.
I hope this hasn't been overlooked again.

The 4th axis module will be released on Nov 19th. This module will include a few new 4th axis methods including a pocketing type of machining.

Woohoo - THATS WHAT I AM TALKIN' ABOUT
You should add that to the VM6 spec sheet, no sense losing potential sales for the lack of a few words.

Hi DareBee,
Marketing insists that we do not add features that have not yet been released in the spec sheet. So we have added only those features we have already released in VM 5.0 for the 4th axis and the Pro products.

When RhinoCam 2.0 is released will it run on Rhino 4.0 or 3.0? I have both Rhinos on my computers but have only run my cam software on 3.0 (...if it works don't fix it.)
Did you do the bulk of your development for RhinoCam on 3.0 or 4.0? I would like to be able to run RhinoCam Pro 2.0 inside Rhino 4.0 if possible.

I would expect (and hope) it to run ONLY on Rhino 4, there's no reason at all to waste time developing something for Rhino V3 now, nor any reason to be limited by an older SDK... --Mitch

Mitch is right. We will be releasing new versions only on Rhino 4.0. RhinoCAM 1.0 for Rhino 3.0 is not under active development and will be updated only under extreme duress!
