I am a newbie.
Even though there are a million router bits I wanted to know how one would go about having one custom made and if it is possible at all?
Also wanted to know if anyone can recommend a consummer grade router for use on my Techno-isel router to be received in about a month?
Thanks
Doug

Try "www.antaresinc.com". They will make any shape and angle you want.
The other option is to buy a cutter grinder and make your own. There are desktop import machines available. I use both as sometimes I don't have time to order one. They will also sell you split carbide blanks. Let me know if I can help further. Larry

Refference the above company. The web site is at ".net" not ".com"

I have one machine running a Makita RF1101 and another running a Porter Cable 7518. The Makita is a much better router, but doesn’t have as much power as the PC. A lot depends on the material you’re cutting and how fast you’re cutting it.

Can you point me to any of those machines? Thanks, --Mitch

Mitch, I found mine on Ebay. If you don't find one there email me & i'll try to find where I got it. They imported them for resale.

I've gotten all my custom bits from WolfCarbide.com. they've been great. Very nice bits, great e-mail response time, and decent prices.
Hope this helps
