Can't select part in RhinoTurn

Post by 1444835720 »

Hi,

I was following the process that I normally do to process a part. I created the stock to a similar size to the part(slightly oversized) and then tried to define the part. I selected the entire part for the control region and after I clicked save, it still said that no part was selected. When I went back into the part menu there is a surface listed. I clicked on the surface and my part showed a lot of green arrows pointing off in all directions. Do you have any idea how to fix this so that I can select my part to turn it? Thanks.

Make sure (1) the part is oriented correctly so the axis of rotation is along the turn Z coordinate system (World X coordinate in Rhinoceros CAD).
(2) The back face of the part is at the WCS origin.
Once you have successfully defined the part in TURN browser, you can then set the Work Zero to the rightmost face of part/stock geometry.
