parallel finishing questions

I'm having problems with this part.

It seems like the problem is the tool path not the geometry

Any ideas or suggestions?

From the screen shots it looks like the cut path is parallel to the surface along the length of the part and it is leaving material at the side walls. Changing the angle of cut to 90 degrees in the parallel finishing cut parameters would result in a better finish.
Between 2 curves machining would be good way to finish this part.
