Reclangular or optimised nesting????

Post by tomvaughan »

Does anyone know of any command that can lay out a number of parts on a specified sheet size in the most efficient way???

I think that it is sometimes reffered to as rectangular nesting or optimized nesting???

There is a Plug-in called RhinoNest that you can buy. Please contact sales to get pricing for this plug-in.

RhinoNest is pretty good it has some things that irk me. But these things don't really effect the nesting part. It mainly has to do with the interface.

the first thing that comes to mind is having to click like mad in the nesting table to change the item quantities. And changing the tolerances in the command line stops the command.

it does have some nice features though.
