Maybe an OT question as most of VM's focus is on 2.5D and 3D machining and that has been my only use of VM so far, too. I'm building a cnc plasma cutter and was just curious if anyone else has used VM to create the tool paths (from dxf files) for plasma cutting? I understand each part needs the cutter lead in and from a cursory glance, it looks like the entry/exit settings in 2.5D profiling might be a good place to start. Just curious if anyone has tried this?
