Viewing part and stock?

In VM 4.0 I could view the part and the stock at the same time so that if I had stock where the part protruded I could see it sticking out of the stock. In 5.0 I can only see the stock on the stock view and the part in the MOP or Geometry view. I can not seem to figure out a way to see both in the same view.

Am I missing something or has this ability been eliminated?

If you want to see your part in "Stock View" turn on the layers that your surfaces were created on and they should show through the stock.
