Can I use the Posts from VM4 in VM5 without Changes?

Hi Friends,

this is my first question.
Can I use my old Posts in VM5 without changes?

My old post processors from Version 4 works fine with Version 5. (Roland & Isel) I think you have to adapt your post processor for the new operations if you want to use them. Like cut compensation.

Leo is right. You can use your VM4 post with VM5. But if you want to use the additional features in 5.0 you need to convert it into 5.0.

1. Select Post Process->Post Processor Generator.
2. Double click on the post you are using.
3. It will prompt you as a new version and when you select ok, it will convert it into the new version.
4. Save the post and exit.
