Plunge Roughing

Post by 1449157671 »

Having trouble with plunge roughing (had to revert to BobCad to get it done) Antway, the tool path will not cover the stock I need to remove. Visualcam will not take the first passes to depth and it will end up with a full cut condition and the tool can not survive. I have noticed that I can make the stock smaller and the tool path looks better but that is not what I am working with on this job. Let me know if I am doing something wrong.

I would think that you would want to add a depth control to your plunge rough cycle also. In this case we only want to go a little beyond centerline but I dont seem to have a way to control it like I do some other 3d operations.

We have added a depth control, similar to horizontal roughing, enhancement to the system. Thanks.

How do I get the update?

Also why was it not drilling to the model?
