Dongle not found

I have installed VM5 on another computer and it cannot find the dongle. I have disconnected the printer.

Whats wrong?

Just in case someone else has this problem here is the answer from MecSoft.

Please follow the below instructions to get the dongle to work.

1. Restart your computer.

2. Make sure it works, if not

a. If you are using Windows NT/2000/XP, double click on the
setupx86.exe
from the C:/Program Files/MecSoft Corporation/VisualMill 5.0/Win_nt folder
"or"
If you are using Windows 95/98/ME, double click on the sentw9x.exe from
the C:/Program Files/MecSoft Corporation/VisualMill 5.0/Win_9x folder.

b. In Rainbow Sentinel Window, Select Functions->Remove Sentinel
driver, click OK.

c. Double click on the RainbowInstaller.exe from the C:/Program
Files/MecSoft Corporation/VisualMill 5.0 folder

d. Restart your computer.

3. Make sure it works, if not

a. Download the Combo Installer from the Rainbow website
http://www.rainbow.com/support/sentinelESC.asp and install it.

b. Restart your computer.

4. Make sure it works, if not

a. Download the Sentinel Medic from the Rainbow website
http://www.rainbow.com/support/sentinelESC.asp , install it, run the
SproMedic.exe and click on Find SuperPro and send us all the information
on that screen.

To get it working for windows 8.1 here's what I did. Follow steps 2a through 2b above then go here:

And download and install Sentinel Driver v7.5.8, which has the following URL:

http://c3.safenet-inc.com/downloads/E/2 ... 07.5.8.zip

No reboot was necessary, but it couldn't hurt. Also, of course, make sure your USB dongle is plugged into a USB port and the green LED is showing.
