MecSoft Releases RhinoCAM 2014

Irvine, CA, November 19,  2013:   MecSoft Corporation, the developer of industry leading CAD/CAM software solutions, has announced the availability of RhinoCAM 2014, a major version release for MecSoft’s integrated CAM solution for Rhino.

RhinoCAM 2014 includes four CAM modules known as RhinoCAM-MILL, RhinoCAM-TURN, RhinoCAM-NEST, and RhinoCAM-ART, each of which run integrated inside the Rhino 5 CAD program and can be bought and licensed independent of each other. The TURN module is a new module that is being introduced with the 2014 release.  All of other CAM modules were significantly enhanced and improved in this 2014 release to provide customers with a powerful and complete manufacturing platform.

MecSoft Releases VisualCAD/CAM 2014

MecSoft releases VisualXPORT 2.0 for Inventor

Irvine, CA, December 6, 2012:   MecSoft Corporation, the developer of computer aided manufacturing (CAM) software solutions, has announced VisualXPORT 2.0 for Inventor.

VisualXPORT for Inventor is an integrated plug-in for Autodesk’s Inventor allowing users  to  transfer Inventor geometry directly to VisualMILL without having to go through a neutral format such as STEP or IGES.  The solution provides an enhanced workflow for companies that design in Inventor and use VisualMILL in their manufacturing process.

“A number of our VisualMILL customers are using Inventor and need enhanced export capabilities beyond the traditional 3D DWG, STL, IGES and STEP formats. VisualXPORT for Inventor meets this need,” stated Uday Honnalagere, Support Manager for MecSoft. “We’re excited to offer this new release of VisualXPORT for Inventor that offers enhanced capabilities including the ability to export solids and surfaces as NURBS surfaces.”

VisualXPORT 2.0 for Inventor can be used to export 2D & 3D Sketches (curves), solids with combined faces, solids with separate faces and individual surfaces. It is certified to run inside Autodesk Inventor versions 2009 through 2013.
