MecSoft Releases CAMJam 2020

Irvine, CA, May 15, 2020: MecSoft Corporation announces today the release of CAMJam 2020, the Video Training Companion for their popular VisualCAD/CAM®, RhinoCAM®, VisualCAM® for SOLIDWORKS and AlibreCAM® desktop milling modules.  CAMJam 2020 is a video archive and viewing guide of training sessions conducted by the support staff at MecSoft Corporation and more.  It includes updates for the new 2020 products as well as all of the CAMJam 2019 version videos.

MecSoft Announces Partnership with RoboDK

Irvine, CA, May 6, 2020: MecSoft Corporation, the developer of industry leading CAM software solutions, has announced a partnership with RoboDK Inc., maker of RoboDK, a Robotic simulation software for robot machining and robot offline programming. This partnership enables users of MecSoft’s CAM products the ability to use robots for milling. 2-½ Axis to 5 Axis toolpaths that are generated inside of MecSoft’s CAM products can be transferred to RoboDK to create robot specific control code.

RoboDK ’s partnership with MecSoft allows the seamless conversion of 2-½ Axis to 5 Axis milling toolpaths generated by MecSoft’s CAM products into robot control programs. AlibreCAM 2020 is Certified for Alibre Design v21

Irvine, CA, May 7, 2020: MecSoft Corporation, the developer of industry leading CAD/CAM software solutions, has announced that AlibreCAM 2020, the latest version of MecSoft’s integrated CAM solution for Alibre Design is certified for the latest release of Alibre Design v21 [Build 21034].

This certification assures that engineers and CNC programmers can use AlibreCAM 2020 to program simple and complex parts for machining on all kinds of CNC lathes, mills, turning centers and multi-axis machining centers directly from Alibre Design v21.  In addition to this, AlibreCAM 2020 has been certified to be compatible with the latest as well as the legacy display engines in Alibre Design v21. The latest display engine in Alibre Design v21 uses advanced display modes, some of which are shown below.
