MecSoft Certifies VisualCAM 2014 to be compatible with SolidWorks 2015

Irvine, CA, November 21, 2014: MecSoft Corporation, a SolidWorks Gold Certified CAM system developer has announced that VisualCAM 2014 for SolidWorks is certified to run inside the new release of SolidWorks 2015.

“MecSoft is a SolidWorks Gold certified CAM developer, and so we make every effort to always keep our products up-to-date and certified to run with the latest releases of the SolidWorks CAD system” stated Uday Honnalagere, Support Manager for MecSoft.

MecSoft Announces Partnership with GoodFA in Korea

VisualXPORT for Inventor is a direct plug-in for Inventor, letting users export their parts in VisualMILL formatted files (.vcp). The solution provides an enhanced workflow for companies that design in Inventor and use VisualMILL in their manufacturing process.

“MecSoft is an Inventor Certified CAM developer, and so we are very familiar with the unique needs of Inventor users,” stated Uday Honnalagere, Support Manager for MecSoft. “VisualXPORT for Inventor was created as a direct result of the feedback received from our customers.  They needed enhanced export capabilities in Inventor beyond supporting STL, IGES and STEP formats while not having to give up using our standalone CAD/CAM software, VisualCAD/CAM.”

VisualXPORT for SpaceClaim allows users to transfer SpaceClaim geometry directly to VisualCAD without having to go through a neutral format such as STEP or IGES.  The solution provides an enhanced workflow for companies that design in SpaceClaim and use VisualCAD/VisualMILL in their manufacturing process.

MecSoft Releases VisualCAM 2014 for Geomagic®

VisualCAM 2014 for Geomagic includes two CAM modules, MILL and TURN, each of which run integrated inside the Geomagic CAD program and can be bought and licensed independent of each other. The TURN module is a new module that is being introduced with the 2014 release.
