Bob Garrish of Spring Loaded Technologies in Halifax Nova Scotia was announced as one of the five big winners in the recent Innovacorp I-3 competition for knowledge-based companies in the region. NSCAD Institute Symposium
Bob also lectured at the recent symposium of the NSCAD Institute for Applied Technology in Halifax. He lectured on the technology of CNC and how to get started in using and building your own CNC machine. Click here to read more about the NSCAD Symposium.
In his lectures and when consulting with clients, Bob has told MecSoft “for my CNC workshop in which I’ll be advocating Visual Mill as my preferred Standalone CAM system in the 1K-10K price range, and using it for my CAM software demos.” (March 27, 2014)

Bob is an engineer and mathematician with Masters degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. Bob has been working in product design and manufacturing consulting for the past seven years. Besides engineering, Bob is also a welder and machinist. Bob’s specialties are prototyping and design for manufacture.
