How to Load a Knowledge Base
You can Load the Knowledge Base and re-use it in any other document that may be appropriate. You can Load one or more Knowledge Base files into the current document. When a Knowledge Base is loaded, its operations are automatically appended to the existing list of machining operations in the Machining Job. Refer to the basic steps below:
•A Knowledge Base file must be created before you can Load it. See Save Knowledge Base for information about creating one.
•A Knowledge Base DOES NOT have associated toolpaths. It contains the knowledge parameters for machining.
•All cutting tools used by the Knowledge Base are loaded into your document automatically.
1.From the Home tab, select the Load KB button.
2.From the local file open dialog, select the knowledge base file to load and pick OK.
3.The operations in the Knowledge Base are appended to the Machining Job and flagged. If you do not see the new operations, refresh your browser document tab.
4.Delete the operations you do not need.
5.Double-left-click on the operation(s) you wish to keep to display its operation dialog.
6.Select the new machining regions from your part that you wish to use.
7.Pick Generate Toolpath to see the resulting toolpath.
